Who says you have to stop coming to Village Harmony when you age out of high school?
Village Harmony’s New England alumni camp is open to singers who have aged out of our teen camps as well as other talented and music-loving young adult singers aged 18-26 new to Village Harmony.
This year’s 15 day-long program will be led by VH alumni and leaders Sinead O'Mahoney & Magda Sharff, with repertoire spanning multiple continents and cultures.
We will begin with a rehearsal week at Village Harmony's headquarters in rural Marshfield, Vermont. The rehearsal period will be followed by a week on the road, with stops along the route for picnics, hikes and exploring swimming holes, and concerts every evening.
The camp will finish with a final afternoon concert on Sunday June 15.
The Village Harmony House is located five miles up on a quiet dirt road in the central Vermont hills outside Marshfield. Three stories, six bedrooms, a large rehearsal room and a well-designed kitchen provide generous community space and beds for up to 15. A cozy screen-house nestled in the woods below the house offers additional bed space.

Magda Sharff
Born and raised in Southern Vermont, Magda Sharff is a Village Harmony and Northern Harmony alumna and lifelong lover of community song and dance. She has traveled with Village Harmony to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Corsica, and Sweden.
Though she has always been passionate about singing, dancing, and playing the accordion, Magda's love for teaching music was ignited through leading workshops with a series of small Northern Harmony ensembles in 2020 and 2021. Occasionally accused of being a vocal chameleon, Magda loves to dip her toes into new genres, but tends to focus on close harmonies, heart-wrenching melodies, and all things crunchy. Bosnian village songs, Sevdalinke, and Corsican polyphony make her heart sing.
Magda is currently based in Poughkeepsie, NY, and is pursuing a degree in music at Vassar College.
